April 2025 | Novibet’s Giant Heart stands by stray animals

On the occasion of World Stray Animals Day (April 4), Novibet’s social responsibility initiative, Giant Heart, continues its impactful work—proving that love for animals is shown through meaningful, lasting actions. Through a series of targeted initiatives in Athens and Thessaloniki, the #Novipet pillar supported animal welfare organizations, strengthened shelters, improved infrastructure, and supported care, sterilization, and adoption programs—once again affirming Novibet’s commitment to the welfare of stray companion animals.

A Little Shelter – When support becomes action and action becomes creation

In partnership with A Little Shelter, which suffered significant damage due to natural events, Novibet’s Giant Heart undertook infrastructure repairs and improvements. Aiming to ensure the safety, cleanliness, and dignified living conditions of the animals housed at the shelter, major upgrades were carried out to enhance its functionality and prepare it for future challenges.

During the visit, Novibet employees designed and painted a unique mural expressing love for animals, turning the visit into a celebration of contribution and creativity with the active participation of the team members.

Under the #Novipet pillar, Giant Heart joins forces with Aris FC and the Argos animal welfare association to support Thessaloniki’s strays

Driven by shared values of love and respect for animals, Novibet collaborated with Aris Thessaloniki FC and the local animal welfare association Argos to implement a sterilization program for the area’s stray animals—focusing especially on cats around the team’s training center and nearby neighborhoods. This effort contributes meaningfully to population control and the health and wellbeing of stray animals.

Make it Pawsible – A footprint of care for our most loyal companions

Giant Heart embraced the mission of the Make it Pawsible animal welfare group, in partnership with Atromitos Athens FC, through a targeted donation supporting their valuable work. This initiative helped meet the needs for food, medical care, and general welfare for the animals in their shelter.
